A Message from SCP’s President

Dear Friends of SCP,

Throughout 2020 SCP has been committed to continuing our legacy of inclusive, entertaining, and quality content by releasing projects on SCP Digital for Patreon subscribers.

As sad as it makes us to say, we need to be frank in saying: without additional support we only have about 6 months left before our funds run out. While we have been fortunate to work with so many talented individuals to create the unimaginable that is digital theatre, it is not enough to keep the lights on in the future. With fixed expenses (such as rent for our warehouse/scenic shop) averaging $4,500 a month, SCP needs your help now more than ever. We are heading toward 52 years of serving the community by creating a diverse safe space for young and old to work together on meaningful art to share.

We are here today to ask you to help us #SaveSCP. IF YOU ARE READING THIS EMAIL, we are asking you for 52 weeks of support so we can bring you and many others another 52 years of high-quality theatre experiences. We only need 1000 people to donate $5 a month. So we are asking for at least $5/mo from YOU. If everyone reading this donates just $5/mo for the next year…we will be here next season. You will have a direct hand in saving a long-standing local institution for the arts who is committed to innovation, building diversity and equality on the stage, and always making those involved feel like family.

Monthly donations are easily set up through PayPal. If you are not in a position to commit to an ongoing donation, we appreciate whatever you can contribute.

Another great way to support us is by joining our Patreon. You'll get quality exclusive entertainment delivered right to your screens at home if you join at the $25/month level and above. Our most recent member-exclusive offering is an amazing performance by Smita Patibanda, who was unforgettable in the role of "Dorothy" in our production of The Wiz.

Additionally, whether you are in a position to donate or not, please help us spread the word through our social media posts on Facebook and Instagram for #SaveSCP. We thank you in advance for your support.

With gratitude and wishes for good health,

Minna Rogers
President, SCP Board
